(To the tune of Air Supply)... HERE I AM...THE ONE THAT YOU LOOOOVE -

Alright... so this is as close as I could come to what I looked like when you were here. This is my 7th grade school picture. Maybe if you show this to your Mama, she'll remember me huh? Boy was I cute. Boy oh Boy. Boy. Boy. Boy. Boy. Boy. Hmmm.. there's something about this haircut I didn't like. I can't put my finger on it.

This is my wedding day. Let's just say it's a good thing there was a veil holding down the rest of my really high hair.

Here's my little family all together on Jamie's 30th birthday 5 years ago. We had a huge surprise party for him. This is us and all of our kids... except the one on the right in the purple, that's my neice, Kasey.
Here I was talking to you on the phone! I'm no longer blonde. I colored my hair dark brown and I've lost a little weight since the photo above. Not alot but enough that my face is obviously slimmer. Anyway, so here it all is...... laid out for you. These are my peeps. This is what I look like now. I'll post more later to give you an idea of WHO I am now.... Tell your people I said hello and I'll call you to make sure you got the email I'm about to send with the link to this site. Bye Michelle!

ALL TOGETHER NOW -

This is what my husband Jamie looked like when we got married. My mother wasn't any too thrilled with his long hair but that just goes to show ya, don't judge a book by its cover. Turns out see, we've been married 14 years next month and I think if she had to pick one of the two of us to shoot.... ya know, if she HAD to...... I'd be scared.

The picture with all the kids there on the fence, I took. Chelsey is our oldest girl. I don't have many digital pictures of her cause she doesn't come around much. She'll be 17 this October. She's got better things to do. This photo is either 2 or 3 years old. She's a great kid but with the usual teenage attitude. She's starting to warm back up though. I miss her a lot.

This is what everybody looked like today at Aaron's graduation. Abby, Jamie, Brent & Aaron. Jamie's changed a little don't ya think? hehehe

He's a good guy.... one of the few. Works hard, provides well, and is always well intentioned. He's even faithful as far as I know..heh

We've been through a lot together. He's the guy that can talk you into seeing the brighter side on a gloomy day. I depend on him for that too much as well. He's an optomist. Whereas I might expect the worst in a situation, he's always genuinely surprised when things don't go exactly as planned. Kinda drives me crazy sometimes though because I don't feel like he ever has a backup plan even in mind just in CASE one of my predicted horrible scenarios actually takes place. But when it happens, he can come up with at least two ways to fix it on the spot. He's my crazykeeper. When I give up hope, he talks me out of it.

CLEVER - then & now

Okay, so here's what used to be the high school. Remember? This is now the "middle school", for 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grades. We have a new high school but just passed a new tax increase for an even newer high school to be built all the way across town. There are roughly between 80 and 100 students per grade now. Even kindergarten! Remember when we were in school? There were two classes each of 5th and 6th grades, with anywhere from 18 to 20 students per class. By the way, any pictures on this site that you want a closer look at, you can click on them and they'll get huge.....
This next picture is of the only stop light in Clever. Referred to as, "the 4-way stop in Clever" when giving anyone directions. This is at Highway 14 coming into Clever from Republic. There used to be an old, old gas station on the left. There's still a gas station there but it's been torn down and rebuilt with a little strip mall behind it and the car wash that has also been remodeled beside that.
This is the view driving into downtown Clever. You asked me if the little grocery store was still there and as you can see, it is. I think they may even have some of the same merchandise in stock that they had when you lived here. Not much has changed about this picture obviously. Downtown remains nearly the same as it was then.
This is that new convenient store on the corner coming into town.
This is the park. Updated, (somewhat), with a brand new water tower close by. Remember when the park was just a pavillion on an empty lot? The old jail might have even still been on it when you were here. Do you remember anything about the park in town?

Abby-CADABRA!

This is Abby Nicole. She just turned 15. She's learning to drive. She's in the 9th grade. She just moved in with us in February. She's..... uhm...... sparkly, glittery, glamorous. She's funny and also fun to be with. Sometimes she laughs until she cries. I have lots of nicknames for her.... most commonly, "Dabbler" & "Nickel". She likes to "Text"... a lot. Her room is pink with giant white polka dots. She played softball this year for the first time since she was little. She was surprisingly good at it considering. She's humorously sarcastic. She's become "suddenly famous" as the new girl at school. She says the new is fading but her popularity doesn't seem to wear off. She doesn't like being asked if she has her homework done. I told her to get used to it. She just went to prom in a black dress yet she doesn't even own a black shirt. She's terribly moody but her attitude is easily altered. She likes watching dvd's of "Friends" over and over. She loves clothes and shoes and hair and lotion and fingernail polish. She's a girly-girl and she's a lot like me. Getting along with each other well comes naturally for us.

This is Brent ...

This is Brent. He's 13. He's my Rock Star. This is first name out of my mouth when someone asks me how the kids are. I have so much to be proud of him for. He's in 7th grade. He never has homework. He's got a ton of friends, both girls and guys. He's polite. He's funny. He also rides a dirtbike, but desires it to be a 4 wheeler. He's outspoken and sometimes arrogant. He's cute. He loves his Mom and always shows it. Brent was a super well behaved toddler. He was super smart right from the start. He's so well liked by the kids and also the adults. He's a Red Cross volunteer for the Disaster Action Team. He plays baseball, usually 2nd base. He uses what he's taught. He's intrigued by science experiments. He's awesome. This is Brent... He's 13. He's my Rock Star...

I'd Like You To Meet Aaron...

Well... My last baby has graduated kindergarten. Here he stands proud with my mom and my grandma. This is Aaron. He's 6 and a half. He's a neat kid. He rides a dirtbike, he collects diecast Monster Trucks and he owns a few hundred Hot Wheels. His favorite outdoor toy is a giant pile of dirt of which he has laid claim to ownership. He plays T-Ball and is known to ALL of the elementary teachers as a "ladies man". He is socialized beyond his years. His first day of school he got in trouble by the bus driver for kissing. More recently, he received his one and only "incident report" from school for choking a child that would not stop scratching him. He made honor roll 3 of 4 quarters this year. His favorite holiday is "firecracker day". He's been playing golf with the 17 year old neighbor Levi and will hang out with Levi's Mom Teresa forever if we let him, and cries hard when we tell him he can't go back after dark. He still believes in Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny and two nights ago, held on to his lost tooth in his hand under his pillow so he could "catch her sneaking in his room". He recently became freaked out by bugs when a gigantic moth made it's way into the livingroom. Now all bugs must be killed immediately upon arrival. His favorite song is "Watching You" by Rodney Atkins. He sings it loud and proud. He's an outside boy, always has been. This is my kid that had to be found in the store, tracked down in the neighborhood. This is Aaron. He's 6. He's a neat kid...
